If you got used to find movie recommendations around here, well... ¡here it is!
"Celeste and Jesse forever" is announced as a romantic comedy even though it is not that funny, in fact it begins with drama. But presented as if it was all a bed of roses. Jesse and Celeste get along wonderfully, they look like the perfect couple, they have fun doing silly things, they understand each other, they cope with each other... but they are actually getting a divorce after 6 years of marriage. That is the central conflict, along with other characters who come to put chaos and joy, to reveal things and open up themselves.

I just wanna comment on something, the "no, you've gotta be kidding me" moment. I had not researched a thing about the movie. I found it on my trusty blog (?), I downloaded and watched it, only knowing that the lead characters were played by Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg. When I saw Chris Messina in the opening credits I thought I had misread. But no. Is he stalking me, after all? What are the odds of him appearing in SO MANY movies I choose? It's, at least, surprising. And by watching him, over and over, I started to like the fucking bastard! (as long as I don't see him eating).

Anyway, it's a nice movie, entertaining, sweet, with young adult problems and good music (a must in my choices). But: if you're down or heartbroken, don't watch it.
